Brian Pleasant is a Program Analyst for the Department of Energy’s Office of Engineering and Construction Management. In this role, Mr. Pleasant manages DOE’s Earned Value Management System (EVMS) review and certification process. He is responsible for ensuring that all Energy contractors with projects greater than $50 million have implemented an EVMS that is compliant with industry standards. He also supported the rewrite of DOE Order 413.3A, the Department’s project management policy. Prior to joining Energy, Mr. Pleasant worked in program and financial management for the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. He spent two of these years in Italy with the Department of the Navy. Mr. Pleasant received his bachelor’s degree from Campbell University in North Carolina.
